These combine Paul’s most elaborate and complex finishes with new twist techniques. Large gorgeous “A” quality crystal spheres and pagan symbols!

The wand flares out between the handle and point in what is called a basket twist. Many blacksmiths need to split the iron, make the rotary twist shapes and then weld it back together. This is ugly and inelegant. Paul found a way to create the void effect without needing to cut and weld! The basket void resembles a nut and adds symmetry to the large crystal set in the pommel. Pagan symbols are stamped below the crystal sphere on all sides at the end of the handle.

The shaft is decorated with two different types of twist… Including classics such as “dragonscale twists”, “Staircase twists”, “Rope twists” and “Vine twists”, including Paul’s new experimental vine twists further details with ripples and ridges.

The clasps that hold the crystal in place are drawn out to resemble organic branches or vines. Each is Unique.

Our most expensive and elaborate wand, described as “Elven” by those attending Convocation! Every inch is extensively detailed, every cut and embellishment forged by hand! These are a huge amount of work, hence the price.

The twists in the wand show the movement of energy. and that magick is always turning about the dark and light side of dualities. The contrast between the shiny polished areas and dark interior of the twists also talk to the ying and yang of the light and dark, the double sided coin that is energy.

In Traditional English cottage witchcraft the Fae Folk are scared of iron and therefore iron tools can be used to protect against or control the Fae.
