This witches short sword, perfect for pagans, traditional witchcraft, Asatru, Norse heathenry, Anglo Saxon paganism, high magick, Traditional Witchcraft and wicca was forged by Paul, a practicing witch and ceremonial magician, from a single piece of gorgeous brass bar specifically for Hecate or Hekate worship and devotion and hecatean Spellcraft!
Hecatean spellcraft focuses on magick at the crossroads, liminal space, protection, and transformation, often involving herbs, keys, and candles during the dark moon. As a triple goddess of the ways, gates and keys, she is invoked for wisdom, intuition, and strengthening personal power. The short swords are 1.5 inches wide solid brass stock highly polished and approx. 26 inches total length of which the purple heart handle is 6 inches.
The Long sword versions are also 1.5 inches wide but a much more substantial 38 inches in total length of which the vermillion handle is 6 inches.
The short swords handle is Purple Heart. Purple Heart’s witchcraft correspondences are also PERFECT for witches who work with the moon and Luna goddesses including Hecate!! Brass is heavy and the sword needs to be protected properly while shipping and is typically too big for the USPS – therefore this does not ship for free and a shipping charge of $45 is added.
Our Hecate Flame blades the most popular witchcraft tools and ritual daggers that Paul, our blacksmith handmakes. Brass is not forged, it is annealed instead, and most of the work is done via griding and polishing. Paul polishes it until it resembles gold.
