Hand made by a master whose work is collected and respected right here in the USA in Michigan. Our witchcraft tools are made by hand by a practicing witch for witches, NOT mass made cheaply in a machine press in India or China from inferior products by people who are not witches or pagans.
This wand is approximately 12 inches in length.
This is gorgeous Purple Heart! Yes, it really is this amazing color! As its purple…. Yeah… VERY witchy! Purple is also the color of the moon and sphere of Yesod in the high occult and ceremonial ritual magick. Purple heart is therefore GREAT for all luna work and moon magick and spell casting with moon goddesses! It also boosts psychic powers and helps develop psychic powers!
Each of Paul's wands are unique. There is no plan beforehand, the wand is allowed to manifest as it wills, Paul just helps it along. Paul does NOT own a lathe, these are carved by hand,
Paul finishes the wands by sanding down to a ultra fine 400 grit sand paper used for high class furniture… It gives a silky smooth finish and brings forth the beauty and detail of the wood… Paul then uses an old blacksmith trick… Witchcraft wands should NEVER be coated with horrible man made plastic varnishes… Instead Paul uses jewelers polish – a grinding pase with an 8000 micro grit… The finish is amazing. It is the same polish used on gold and silver… It makes the wood look wet and translucent, more like a crystal with a 3D look. Hard to photograph in a still… SO check out our videos on TikTok or Instagram.
Long before Paul was ever a blacksmith he carved and was a wandsmith. Before even Artes And Craft opened as a witchcraft store, Paul was making wands and selling them at pagan festivals and gifting them to friends. Being English, Paul would often cut wood when visiting England and return to the USA with some of the most famous classical Celtic magick woods of Ogham lore. In fact, this was one of the founding principles of Artes And Craft, was to bring beautiful ritual tools and goodies from the old world to pagans in the new world. Paul loves crafting heirloom quality unique ritual tools for pagans, druids, ceremonial magicians, Traditional witchcraft and wicca.
Paul used to work exclusively with the old world celtic Ogham woods… But has widened his horizons after studying new world woods with a strong occult and witchcraft pedigree! This new line of exotic hand carved heirloom wood wands are made from gorgeous and powerful new world witchy woods to manifest your desires, boost your manifestation skills, lend power to your spell casting and direct your energy and will!
Wood is of course a natural product. Paul works with the branch, interesting boles, cracks, are incorporated and left by design. Paul also never removes all the bark, as like skin it comes in many layers and some of the lower layers have their own gorgeous color and details!
