Backflow burners are hugely popular in the witchcraft and pagan community! Instead of regular cone incense where the smoke rises…. Backflow incense smoke is heavier than air and instead flows downwards like slow motion water or a thick mist.
This allows backflow burners to take advantage of the “flowing” effect with cascading designs to channel the smoke. The smoke eventually arrives at your altar top or tabletop and then spreads out like a low mist. They are beautiful and fascinating to watch and meditate upon or to trance out while watching. Your wicca and traditional witchcraft spellcraft will be enhanced by the beautiful effect of the low light of candles glowing on the slow moving incense mist.
Each backflow cone has a hole at the bottom that is lined up with the hole in backflow burner where the cone is supposed to be placed. Once the top of the cone I just like a regular cone the smoke starts to flow.
We of course also carry packs of backflow cones from our preferred and trusted brands including well known witchy and pagan sacred fragrances such as fine incense resins, healing herbs and flowers and so on.
You can also use regular cone incense with your burner, but then the smoke will rise into the air as per normal instead of flowing down.
A gorgeous addition to your witchcraft or pagan altar, or for your living room or bedroom. Fill the air with sacred smoke and drift away in meditation or scry into the moving smoke for divination and visions. Burn fragrances pleasing to the gods and goddesses you work with! Cast spells and perform ritual magick allowing your tools on your altar to be censed by the flowing holy smoke.
As usual, practice safety and make sure the burner is on a nonflammable surface and safe from strong breezes, pets, children and anything else that could knock the burner over and cause a fire. Also do not leave incense or candles burning unattended.
