This is exactly what I've been looking for in a tarot deck. The deck follows the Rider-Waite standards of cups, swords, pentacles and wands. And the artwork respects and delivers the Rider-Waite standards also! This is one of the most beautiful decks I have ever seen. If you have been frustrated with a 'non-standard' deck and gone thru cross-referencing you can put those frustrations away! The deck shines in great packaging and a thorough guidebook included!

But most of all, it's about the Owls. My wife is a bird watcher and I've accompanied her on some trips. Having seen owls in the wild with her, I can accept the 'mystical' trait associated with the Owls in this deck. It's not that I don't have any supernatural beliefs, I've just never experienced what I would consider supernaturalism. But with these Owls, I can accept both the mystical qualities brought out in the deck as well as believe that they want to help me with their inate wisdom.
