Palm Stones and Polished shapes for witchcraft

Much larger than tumbled crystals, palm stones are from about 1.5 inches up to the size of a bar of soap.

In traditional English Witchcraft, pellars (Cornish witches) would carry a "Whisht Stone" or "Serpent Stone" with them. Paul carries a piece of Cornish Serpentine (serpent stone) with him in his pocket at all times. Witches would gather the "sprowl" - the power of the land and places of power and store it in the crystal for later use. Dr John Dee of Enochian Magick fame used a "shew stone" for scrying ("shew" is the old English spelling for the more modern "Show".
