These new design iron twisted wands are called “wand of the four elements” as each side of the square bar near the handle has one of the four elements (Fire, Air, Water and Earth) in Theban witch runes.
The type of twist is Paul’s favorite… An organic looking “Vine” twist that changes course back and forth just like magick. Some are tempered after polishing which creates gorgeous iridescent colors Paul calls his “oil on water” finish in blues, purples, golds, reds and pinks… Others he polishes to a mirror finish.
The tip is needle sharp, just like Paul’s popular burins and so can do double duty as a candle scribe or for pricking a finger or thumb for a bleed of blood for spellcasting!
The gorgeous exotic wood handles are hand carved by Paul, sanded to an ultra-fine furniture finish of 400 grit…. Then he uses an old blacksmith’s trick… The wands are then polished with 8000 grit Jewelers polish… It makes the wood look wet… Every detail pops… And even resembles a crystal with a translucent luminous quality. And super silky smooth! It looks varnished – but Paul would of course never sully a witch’s tool with nasty man-made polyurethane varnish!
This one is Vermillion aka Padauk! An exotic new world wood! It really is that deep red color! Highly polished with Jewelers 8000 grit, it looks translucent almost like it’s a polished crystal than wood! From a traditional witchcraft ritual magick perspective, it is associated with the element of FIRE and strong sex goddesses such as Lilith, Morganna, Ishtar, Babalon, Aphrodite and Venus. Just like Bloodwood THIS IS FOR EXPERIENCED PRACTICIONERS ONLY!!! The turbulent vibration of the wood is said to help facilitate deep trances and astral travel and divination, once you have learned to harness its crazy energy!
